Linda Lawton, M.A., ET/P

I’m a professional level educational therapist (ET/P) and credentialed in the state of California (M.A.) to teach social science, art and multiple subjects to kindergarten through adult students.

Neuro-developmental variation first captured my interest when I was the principal of a private middle school in the 80’s. This led me into the school’s Attuned Pilot Teacher training in 1995, and then to the field of educational therapy in 2001. I received my ET training at UC Berkeley Extension and completed a one-year residency in assessment at the New Learning Clinic in 2004.

As a lifelong learner, I earned a Masters from Goddard Graduate Institute in 2015. My thesis, Timeblind, is about the treatment of ADHD in adults. And I am a member of the Association of Educational Therapists.

I have presented frequently on the subject of executive dysfunction and have published work in Attention (CHADD), The Educational Therapist (AET) and The Clinical Practice of Educational Therapy: Learning and Functioning with Diversity, Edition 2, (edited by Maxine Ficksman and Jane Utley Adelizzi, Routledge, 2017).

I’m focused on private practice, coaching, leading workshops and am available for consulting.
